Troll (1986)

This star studded movie is usually outshined by its younger more outgoing sequel Troll 2, which is widely known to be one of the best worst films ever made. But don't sleep on this B movie gem. Troll has a very different but just as effective feel and tone as the second film. This film is full of wild characters and the ugly little trolls get plenty of screen time. This wild story is about the original harry potter and his family as they move into a new apartment building. Starring Jenny Beck as one of the creepiest kids in horror and Atreyu, I mean Noah Hathaway as the kids and Michael Moriarty (Harry Potter) and Shelley Hack as the Potter parents. Medieval mysticism and campiness placed in modern 80's social norms. Dancing and singing trolls, talking mushrooms, and a friendly witch played by June Lockhart. This movie has a lot to watch and laugh at. This one is great to watch with a group of friends or alone if you want to have a good time not taking anything in the movie seriously. As far as a regular movie it would be about a 4 out 10 but scoring it as a B movie it is a 9 out of 10. It is a great B movie and a lot of fun to watch.
